From the Sedar County to the southeast about 20 kilometres, the mountains climbed the red house will be reflected in the eyes, this is - Sedar Buddhist College, is also the world's largest Buddhist College. Follow the lalong ditch upward, the first encounter is the storage of scriptures and offerings to the gods and Buddha's white pagoda, followed by a dense red house will be spread along the hillside, where you can not hear the world's noise, there are only solemn mantra sound. In the days of Seda is very quiet, think of those fluttering colourful streamers, rainbow hanging in the sky after the rain, meet to rush to the pilgrimage of the monks, but also want to come to Seda next time to see those legends of the Milky Way.
Inside the Serta Buddhist Institute, where there are students, older lecturers, children, Tibetans working here, and visiting scholars, there is a mishmash of conflicts, a clash between foreign cultures and local civilisations, an alienation of traditions from the present, and a collision and mingling of real civilisations and traditional religions.
The deep-rooted beliefs of the Tibetan people stem from the accumulation of history, and the collision between the introduction of modern civilisation and the deep-rooted traditional culture of Tibet, young children begin to think about the outside world and their own identity. Under my camera, I hope to restore the real life of Tibetans - the current outlook of Tibet, the basic spiritual state of Tibetans; and at the same time, to restore some of the real details of life.
Through the power of images, I would like to bring people to think about the collision between modernity and tradition in Tibet, whether Tibetan people can have the courage and faith to cross the cultural gap between tradition and modernity, and the questions about each one of us - who are we? Where are we going? A description of cultural identity.
These small contradictions, conflicts and changes in the calm life are reflecting the conflict between foreign culture and local civilisation, and the alienation between tradition and the present in Tibetan areas.
